Habroxia is a new shmup in the style of 16-bit side-scrollers from Lillymo Games for the PlayStation Vita and PS4. It releases on September 24:th in America and September 25:th in Europe and will be available for pre-order from Play-Asia on September 19th in a physical release for the Vita. YES(!), yet another physical Vita release!
As Play-Asia puts it: Ghost Blade HD is an intense Bullet-Hell top-down shoot 'em up, composed by frenetic and addictive score-based gameplay. And the game will be finally open for pre-order on Sept. 12, 2019.

GHOST BLADE HD - STANDARD & LIMITED EDITION RELEASE
The Limited Edition release of Ghost Blade HD for Nintendo Switch will go on sale September 12 with a total of 3,000 copies available to order at $49.99. The Standard Edition will be available with no limit at $29.99, with all pre-orders of the Standard Edition placed before before October 1 a Playasia Switch minicase will be included. Limited Edition copies will all include a minicase. Both titles will be available exclusively from Playasia.
The awesome Darius Cozmic Collection, so far only available in physical form in Japan for Nintendo Switch, is coming to the Nintendo eShop in both Standard and "Consumer" editions, for 5200 and 6500 Yen respectively.
Still no info on the collection going west in physical or digital form though so make sure to create a japanese eShop account and get it. The Switch is region-free.
With the Psikyo Collection of shooting games are already available from Taiwan (or "Asia") and Japan in physical form (available from Play-Asia as usual) NIS has surprised everyone and announced an american release: Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha and Bravo (both coming 2020).
Like the Japanese release it's spread over 2 physical releases (the "asian" version is spread over 3 releases) but this is the first time soundtrack CDs are a part of the package which makes me think I will probably re-buy them.
Sisters Royale is from the team that brought us the Shikigami no Shiro games (wouldn't they be ripe for a collection for present-day consoles?) in the past so if that style appeals to you, there's more of it here. If this never makes it to the west remember that the Switch is region-free. Just make a japanese account, grab an eShop card from Play-Asia and get going!

1. I hope you got your order in for a copy of the Vasara Collection this weekend because it sold it quickly, all platforms. There is a japanese physical release coming by the end of the year, but only for PlayStation 4.

7. With only days to go, July 25th is the date, Raiden V: Director's Cut for Nintendo Switch is getting retail releases in NA and EU. This one had me worried for a while with rumours of a "single print run" in "low numbers" being spread - possibly to stoke the fire of pre-orders.
8. After a substantial delay Dispatch Games has started shipping the NA version of Psyvariar Delta. They were gracious enough to send me an eShop key for the game (huge thanks! as an aside, I never ask for free games, and I don't expect developers to just give away their work) and I have the asian physical release from way back when.
When I looked ta the trailer for this I didn't like the art style or the hysterical effects. And hearing in the review it has glaring technical issues too i'm just happy I didn't bother. But. maybe this appeals to you and you should pick it up? It is still available to pick up from Play-Asia as of this writing anyway.
The physical version of the final(?) in the series of Psikyo collections for Nintendo's Switch, Psikyo Collection Volume 3, is now available for pre-order from Play-Asia but this time you get to chose between a regular and a Limited Edition.
The Limited is about 50$/50€ more expensive but does come with what can only be described as a mouse pad with squishable tits. Make of that what you will but this looks like a fine opportunity to actually save some money.
Strikers 1945 III, Sengoku Cannon, Gunbarich and Zero Gunner 2 are the games making an appearance this time.
Limited Run Games has announced that this very friday, February 1st, they will release a physical edition of Game Paradise (Game Tengoku CruisinMix) for the PlayStation 4. This is a regular edition with a special edition to be released at a later date. Of course, the game is already available in physical form from Play-Asia should you be so inclined, it's unclear to me if there are any differences between the releases.
That other Limited Release company that we all know and love, Strictly Limited Games, responded in kind with a tentative "coming soon" of a physical release of Vasara Collection for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita!
M2 released Ketsui Deathtiny for PlayStation 4 yesterday in Japan. It's available on japanese PSN and as a physical release from the usual suspects (in my case Play-Asia).

The player vs Player shmup Rival Megagun is out now on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One,and Nintendo Switch (EU/JP, US/Canada gets it on Dec 6th).
Play-Asia is telling everyone that their limited releases of Earth Atlantis and Rym 9000, with the former being available in 1700 copies and the latter in 1600 copies, will be available to pre-order on November 1st with shipments going out in January of next year.
Earth Atlantis comes in a Collector´s Box (it's a big cardboard box just like their earlier releases), a Game Disc (surprise!) is included, a Manual, The Fadin World - The Art of Earth Atlantis and the ever-so-exciting numbered certificate is included. Limited to 2 per person.
Rym 9000, the slightly more limited release, includes much the same thing but manages to include an Original Soundtrack in the box which is always a welcome bonus. The same 2 copies limit applies.
Both beautiful and great sounding, MVS and later Dreamcast shmup Fast Striker from NG:DEV.TEAM has been announced by Eastasiasoft for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in October.
It will be available digitally at $6.99 / €6.99 and as physical limited edition for $34.99 including shipping. Limited edition pre-orders will open on October 11 at Play-Asia.
