Gentlemen, get your credit cards out! Sturmwind about to get a re-print!
This may not sound like news, Sturmwind being an indie release from 2013 for the SEGA Dreamcast but hang on!
The game has been out of print and prices are beginning to rise already.
So developer Duranik did us a favor and announced a re-print of the title is in fact ready!
If you already have a Dreamcast (and if you read this blog you really should!) and have been missing out now is the time to plunk down some cash for this great, great horizontal shooter.

Natsuki Chronicle coming for Xbox One
Developers Qute who brought us Eschatos and Ginga Force have announced Natsuki Chronicle for the Xbox One for release in 2017. No firm date yet.

Terra Force on PS4
Terra Force, an arcade shooter from Nichibutsu in 1987, will be released on PSN for PS4 on November 17th.

Darius and Mushihimesama Gold Label
In a rocky announcement Taito revelead that Darius 30th Anniversary Edition is coming to PlayStation 4.
All those discs? Soundtracks for the game series. It's not entirely clear if the game disc contains just Darius or the complete series.
CAVE announced Mushihimesama Gold Label for Android and iOS.
And again, the information hasn't been translated so it's unclear if this is something to do with the shmup series or just something cobbled together with a famous name slapped on.

Well played, Japan.
In a move sure to enrage gamers everywhere outside Japan, the new Battle Garegga Rev. 2016 being released for PS4 will, as we know, only get a PSN release (not physical) but will be made available in a beautiful physical package with soundtrack and extras but no physical disc, just a download code.
This huge FUCK YOU to players worldwide will be released December 12th.
As reported earlier, PS4 release Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet hits european shelves today.

Good times for PlayStation 4 owners ahead.
The latest issue of japanese stalwart games magazine Famitsu revealed that not only is CAVEs Dangun Feveron coming to PSN but Raizings Battle Garegga is coming along for the ride!
This is potentially good news for gamers everywhere and not only because Dangun Feveron has never gotten a home console release before and the only way to play Battle Garegga right now is to get the pricey japanese Sega Saturn release - the PS4 is very import friendly. Just follow one of the guides to create a japanese PSN account and get cracking!
In other news Degica seem to have backed off their earlier September 8th release date for the Steam port of CAVEs DoDonPachi Dai-Fukkatsu, moving it into more ambiguous TBA land.

Its another CAVE game already widely available but I guess if we keep buying the ones we already have they will eventually port something that's not so easily available.

Not your fathers Dodonpachi Resurrection!
Degica Games announced on Twitter that the upcoming release of CAVEs seminal danmaku Dodonpachi Resurrection on Steam will get ALL THE MODES from the japanese Xbox 360 release.
So yes, that includes the Black Label Arrange "Ketsuipachi" mode which will see its first western release. It somewhat makes up for the fact that Dodonpachi Resurrection had a western release on Xbox 360, sans Black Label mode - but still.
If you don't have a Japanese or JTAG-modified Xbox 360 chances are this is the first time you will get to play it. Pro tip: It's hard.

Some delays...
After being delayed it now seems that a ship date of August 9th is firm for PS4 shmup Caladrius Blaze.
This happens to coincide with the release of the game on the PSN store in the US and Europe which means you aren't forced to get the physical copy of the game from Asia should you happen to fancy electronically downloadable games. On the flip side, if you like your games physical the asian release is the way to go. Remember, no region locking on PS4!
Again, after being delayed, Söldner X-2 for PS Vita sold out in a matter of minutes. Should you want a copy now you will have to wait for the shipment to arrive at ebay scalpers everywhere before being fleeced of your money.

Söldner-X 2 gets delayed.
The physical copy version from Limited Run Games of Söldner-X 2 was supposed to go on sale yesterday but has been delayed until July 29th. Available with or without a physical CD soundtrack this limited PS Vita release is looking to be a must-have for collectors. The game itself is of course already available for both the PS Vita and PS3.

Blaze denied but don't despair
With June almost over Play-Asia sent word that the PS4 version of Caladrius Blaze has been delayed and will now be available August 4th.

The third wave of Shooting Love 20XX: TRIZEAL Remix is coming to Steam on July 7th.
