Sisters Royale goes physical, pre-order Feb. 23rd

Strictly Limited Games just announced that they will release physical editions of Sisters Royal(e) for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and that pre-orders will begin February 23rd.

Or as they put it:
Released for the Japanese market back in 2018, the story driven Sisters Royal has since been localized for an English language western release and will be available through the eShop and PSN starting today!

As a spiritual successor to the legendary Castle of Shikigami series, Sisters Royal features everything you'd come to expect from a game by stellar japanese dev AlfaSystem. It's vertical side-scrolling gameplay features the following...

January 26th is when Xeno Crisis goes physical on Switch and PS4

Strictly Limited Games just announced that January 26th is the date pre-orders for Xeno Crisis for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 opens up.

Xeno Crisis is an arena shooter that can be played solo or in local co-op mode. Take control of battle-hardened marines embarking on a deadly mission to confront an alien menace and get home alive! ors, and ultimately facing the origin of the outpost’s demise.

Outpost 88 is divided into seven distinct areas, each being randomly generated with each play, meaning that your strategy must evolve on the fly if you’re to succeed in your mission. Collect dog-tags from vanquished enemies to upgrade your equipment between areas and look out for special weapons which will give you a momentary advantage.

The Darius games goes west and physical on Switch and PS4

Strictly Limited Games is celebrating their second anniversary with a very special release.

The games will release in 3 different editions for both PlayStation 4 and Switch.

The Darius series pioneered horizontal Shoot 'Em Up games and was developed by the legendary TAITO Corporation in Japan. The first Darius game was released for arcade machines back in 1986. In Darius, the player slips into the role of a spaceship pilot, either alone or in two-player mode. Strictly Limited Games made good on their promise to release Vasara Collection physically.

PS4, PS Vita and Switch will all have separate standard and collectors editions, pre-orders going live this weekend.

Hardcore became Ultracore and is in the final stretch of pre-ordering

Hardcore was a "lost" DICE game they abandoned when the console world moved on from the 16-bit era. The game was finished but the platforms were dead.

Strictly Limited Games has now made the game available and along the way it expanded from PS Vita and PS4 to Switch and Mega Drive / Genesis and they decided on a name change: Ultracore. Judging by the looks of the Strictly Limited Games website, the PS Vita version was dropped along the way too.

Anyway, it's a run'n'gun and if you want it in your collection there's about 9 hours left to order it. Predictably, the Mega Drive / Genesis version is already sold out.

R-Type Dimensions EX goes physical on PS4 and Switch on February 24th!

We live in wonderous times. Strictly Limited Games has just announced that R-Type Dimensions EX gets a physical release on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch!
R-Type Dimensions EX is a packaging of IREMs R-Type and R-Type II together with both classic and enhanced graphics.

A February 24th launch is aimed for. Get those credit cards ready!

For the sake of completeness R-Type Dimensions EX is available on Steam should you prefer a PC platform.

Nintendolife adds: As well as a standard physical release, the game will be treated to a fancy Collector's Edition, with pre-orders going live from Strictly Limited Games' store from 24th February. The Collector's Edition is limited to just 2,000 copies and will cost €49.99; the standard physical release will receive 3,000 copies and will be priced at €24.99.

So, I'm back and so is Game Tengoku and Vasara

Limited Run Games has announced that this very friday, February 1st, they will release a physical edition of Game Paradise (Game Tengoku CruisinMix) for the PlayStation 4. This is a regular edition with a special edition to be released at a later date. Of course, the game is already available in physical form from Play-Asia should you be so inclined, it's unclear to me if there are any differences between the releases.

That other Limited Release company that we all know and love, Strictly Limited Games, responded in kind with a tentative "coming soon" of a physical release of Vasara Collection for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita!

Strictly Limited Games unwraps Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax

After unveiling Hardcore for a 2019 release, the next actual release from Strictly Limited Games is Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax or SGW:SC for short.

It's a PlayStation 4 physical release (of course, being from SLG) coming August 26th.

Strictly Limited Games has announced that an old abandoned DICE project, Hardcore, has been resurrected and will be released on both PS4 and PS Vita in 2019.

Steredenn: Binary Stars not kidding; really getting physical.

It was only a couple of days ago that Super Rare Games announced that Steredenn: Binary Stars would get a physical release for Nintendo Switch.

And now Strictly Limited Games announces that a physical release of the game is coming to PlayStation 4 as soon as july 29th. 1900 copies will be available.
