NEO GEO shooter Ghost Pilots out now on Xbox One, EDF hits Steam

Yet another classic shmup from the Neo Geo library landed on a modern piece of kit today with the arrival of Ghost Pilots on Xbox One.

Arriving today on Steam is Earth Defense Force 4.1 Wingdiver the shooter which seems an excessively long title for a shmup. But as it braves new waters for the excessive third-person shooter series of EDF I guess it's fitting. It's 30% off right now so it might be a good time to get it if it tickles your fancy, if you're more of a console player it's still headed for the PS4 later this year.

That's right, seminal third-person shooter Earth Defense Force is getting a proper STG spin-off this fall on PlayStation 4, Earth Defense Force 4.1 Wingdiver the Shooter (there's a mouthful).
