Radirgy Swag goes west/physical and Neurovoider goes physical

The new Radirgy game that was released recently (June 13th) on the eShop for Switch in Japan is coming west - and, get this, going physical! Look for it on October 15th or pre-order: Limited Edition and Standard Edition.

The skinny on the Limited Edition:

The Limited Edition version comes complete with a physical copy of Radirgy Swag, Original Artbook, Original 180g vinyl soundtrack with custom cover, Custom coin. Final design details will be updated soon!  We will update when visuals are approved!

This version will NOT be available at retail.  Strictly limited to one pressing - album collectors take note!

Radirgy Swag is a unique shooter with game mechanics that can be enjoyed by players of all different levels. The planes in Radirgy Swag are not only equipped with guns, but you can also destroy enemies with your sword. This feature allows you to attack your enemies from different angles.  Use your shield or fill up your Absonet gauge to give you temporary invincibility against your foes. Meanwhile, RPG-like twin-stick shooter Neurovoider has gotten a physical release for both PlayStation 4 and Switch from Red Art Games. Available to order now, limited to 1500 PS4 copies and 2800 Switch copies.

Radirgy Swag available for pre-download

Radirgy Swag is now available for pre-download in the japanese e-store (Nintendo Switch). The Switch is region free so all you need to start pre-downloading is a japanese account. Just sayin'.

Radirgy Swag is the latest game in the Radirgy series, a brand new entry coming to Nintendo Switch on June 13th - at least on the Japanese eShop.

I'm a bigger fan of Karous than Radirgy but I'll take it! :)

A new installment of the Radirgy series has been announced (see shitty video) and we know next to nothing about it. No platform announced.

The summarized news

I'm still on vacation (with one week to go) but here's the news that's been rolling in:

Game Tengoku! / Game Paradise! CruisinMix went on sale in the EU / NA PSN Store without an announcement of any kind and Degica Games was quick to point out that it really shouldn't have. It's not ready for retail here yet. The game will get patched to retail level when available if you already bought it.

Super Destronaut DX has launched in the asian PSN store for both PS Vita and PS4 with the PS Vita being especially welcome, shmup releases for the system aren't exactly frequent these days.

Dimension Drive has launched in Asia/Japan on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PS4.

Iro Hero, already available on the Switch, is coming to Steam on July 31st.

Omega Fighter in Hamsters ACA Arcade Archives series launched two days ago (July 26th) for both Switch and PS4. I noted it was coming back in June.

RXN ~ Raijin ~ made it into the Japanese top 10 list for Nintendo Switch. They have a sale on where it's down to just 999 Yen there.

Radirgy de Gojaru!, the Nintendo 3DS spinoff of the Radirgy series has been re-listed in the Japanese eShop. Who knows how long it will remain there? Here's hoping the series will re-emerge on current-gen consoles.
